What's your business, and who are your customers?
Oak Radius is a digital marketing agency. Specializing in lead generation and lead management programs for manufacturing companies.
Tell us about yourself
I have been developing websites since 1998. I started freelancing in 2005 and created Oak Radius in 2010. I like helping manufacturing companies create and manage lead programs for themselves and their dealers. The data-driven aspect is what I love about it. I like to dig into data and make data-driven decisions that make a tangible impact.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
While working with a medical device manufacturer in 2017, I helped create a lead generation program for their mechanical heart valve and ended up gaining a 12% market share within a 12-month period.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Being disciplined and showing up consistently each day.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don’t look for motivation; cultivate discipline. Discipline will stay with you.
- Learn how to value price and sell your value.
- Develop writing and speaking habit. (email newsletter and or podcast) and stick with it for 24 months and watch your business explode!
