What's your business, and who are your customers?
Customized nutrition counseling based on lifestyle and goals. Corporate lunch and learns for companies involving trending nutrition topics and cooking demos included.
Tell us about yourself
I was working for a pharma medical device company, and one morning when I woke up, I found out my company had closed, and I was out of a job, just like that. From there, I decided to take all of my contacts and experience and start nutrition your weigh, inc. I was able to continue counseling clients and help them find better relationships with food, and over time I started doing lunch and learns at companies to reach a broader audience and help teams build better lifestyle habits to help increase job performance and overall wellness. When I see people change their minds about health and lifestyle, it is highly rewarding and motivating to me to continue building my business even in those tough moments.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
That I am still up and running post-pandemic.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Wearing too many hats.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Talk to others that do what you want to do to get tips of your own.
- Grow a thick skin.
- Stay consistent in your craft even if the fruits of your labor don't show up immediately.
