What's your business, and who are your customers?
Nurtured Noggins serves parents of young children through individual coaching, a weekly podcast, online courses, speaking group coaching, how-to videos, and blog posts.
Tell us about yourself
I am an early childhood expert who has taught in higher education as an early childhood professor, mentor, and consultant. I'm a frequent conference speaker and founder of two businesses that serve parents and teachers of young children. I am motivated to do what I do because I care deeply for children and their well-being. I am on a mission to help children thrive in loving families that are part of a supportive community.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have grown my online business from an idea to a successful platform that reaches thousands of parents, teachers, and school administrators each month.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I feel as if I'm always on the uphill climb in keeping up with technology learning!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start small, focused, and keep it real.
- Make it your goal to connect with real people and face to face conversations.
- Don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle or end. It takes time to grow a business.
