What's your business, and who are your customers?

My Name is Shane Flannigan from North Pole Life Coach & I am an award-winning, Neurodiverse, Mystic, WOMENS Life Coach & an International Author. My previous life's work over 20 years ago was in the law enforcement field & I went from hunting serial killers, looking for their victims & chasing bad guys in undercover roles for the narcotics unit, protecting members of the Royal Family, Uniform Patrol, Community Policing & raising a family of 4 boys with my exceptional wife, Michealynn.

However, I developed Complex PTSD over time & retired to heal with a team of medical professionals over 18 years & this experience was life-changing for me as well as one of the most difficult periods in my life. I was also diagnosed with Adult ADHD about three months ago. (but you see, this is not a deficit; it's my unique SUPERPOWER! ).

My life coaching clients are usually between the ages of 30 & 65 years of age and are, of course, women from every walk of life and background but who suddenly realize one of 2 things. "I feel stuck in my whole life situation, so what do I do now because I am NOT satisfied or my clients ask the bigger question #2: "Who am I & what is my purpose."

Tell us about yourself

During 18 years of intense therapies, both traditional and non-traditional, I looked up an old friend to see how she was. Much to my surprise, she told me she was a life coach and offered to give me assistance with my PTSD, which had already improved massively with the right meds and therapy. I thought, what can this hurt to try this life coaching she does? I didn't even really know what a life coach was.

What she achieved in 5 sessions with me outweighed the many benefits I found over 18 years of TRADITIONAL formal therapy. I was hooked and amazed at the relief I felt from daily stress & anxiety & naturally, I asked to apprentice under her, to which she agreed. I added this "new" but also ancient critical knowledge she taught in its current form to what I had also learned from non-traditional healing ways in communities of medicine people in the form of "Shaman" from around the world over my years of training & healing. I LOVE people in general, but now my life coaching business allows me to be a truly unique helper to people from around the world via the internet with live video coaching sessions.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Finding my TRIBE in the welcoming female community worldwide as a male Women's Life Coach.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Letting people know you exist, even in this virtual world, recognition comes with steep financial implications, so you have to be smart about life and set your intentions & get really CURIOUS about the how & why.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Have a clear visual intention of your goal before anything else and put it out there.
  2. Stay in your lane of expertise & look for reliable help with the rest of your business.
  3. You are going to make mistakes, but who cares? Have fun doing what YOU LOVE & LET LIFE LIVE YOU!!

As a MALE Women's Life Coach, I am not here to show women what they ALREADY KNOW. I show, SUPPORT & TEACH them what they DONT KNOW about themselves!
