I started a digital marketing agency after trying to find competent marketing for my home security business. I found that most digital marketing agencies cannot empathize with small business owners, so I wanted to create a service I needed for my business. Helping small businesses and contractors motivates me to provide the best service.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Maintaining a high-level digital marketing agency for over a decade and launching a software company.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Finding people who meet my passion as a business owner takes time and effort. It's essential that I keep my hands in the day-to-day business to ensure high-level operations.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
First, invest in the right things, namely marketing. Don't overspend on unnecessary luxuries.
Secondly, keep your hands in the day-to-day business. Most of the narrative around delegating your entire business is nonsense.
Finally, grasp the concept of brand synergy, which will increase conversion rates.
