Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in food and beverage but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Fraser Fitzgerald, Owner of No Bones Kitchen, located in Hamiton, ON, CA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

No Bones Kitchen serves the very best in snacks, sandwiches, and prepared food! Our customers are typically people who want to make their weeks easier. Busy work week, we got you! Dinner will be ready in 20 minutes.

Tell us about yourself

I have been working in the food industry for nearly a decade. It's been a wild ride. I finally decided to open my own business during covid. I wanted to create the job I wanted instead of waiting for it to happen. Food is basically all I think about, so becoming a chef was a natural career choice for me.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having customers come back each week and tell me how much they loved our food is the only accomplishment I need.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Finding good staff is hard. Finding people who care about the business as much as I do is impossible.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Believe in what you're doing. Don't do it for money; money comes and goes, but your passion has to get you up and out of bed after working for a month straight.
