What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help people get out of chronic pain. I love working with people who have tried everything and are tired of the conventional medical model.
Tell us about yourself
I started working with holistic solutions to pain relief because I didn't like how the dentists and doctors treated my TMJ (jaw) pain. They gave me something to minimize damage to the body, but it did not solve the problem.
I found several solutions that treated the source of the pain, not just the symptoms, and I wanted to share those with my clients. I love solving problems and seeing how the fantastic body responds when it gets what it is crying out for.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Starting over! I moved my practice from Baltimore, MD, to Colorado Springs, CO. Starting over from scratch took a lot of work! I love the focus on holistic health and wellness in Colorado. I am also proud to be able to help people on various levels, not just the physical sense pain is rarely just a physical issue.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things is doing everything you want to do! I want to share so much with my clients- it's hard to prioritize and make the time to get new offerings up and available.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be clear on what you offer and who you serve.
- Set clear priorities, and don't let things distract you from those.
- Get systems & support as soon as you can!
