What's your business, and who are your customers?
I help women heal the Leaky Gut to reverse autoimmunity.
Tell us about yourself
I struggled with my own health issues growing up, which led me to discover functional medicine. When I healed my gut, my autoimmunity reversed, and I knew I had to share the tools I learned and my experience/education with the world. I was motivated to open up and start my practice when I realized the conventional healthcare model was broken, and I knew there was a better way to help people without burning out doing 1:1 sessions. I am motivated by the opportunity to support women along their health journey so they can get their life back!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being able to help women achieve optimal health in a way that supports my family and me. I love that I am not a burnt-out practitioner anymore compared to when I was working a corporate job.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Wearing many different hats and finding time to accomplish all the visions you have.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't wait to hire help. Hire even if it seems scary to do so.
- Delegate!
- Stay grounded in Faith (this was the biggest thing for me, so I can always come back to my why when it gets tough).
