What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a copywriter, ghostwriter, and book coach. I help soulful entrepreneurs, health and wellness practitioners, and coaches get aligned content that does the selling for them and writes the book that makes them an expert in their field. Excellent communication is the key to organic growth in any business.
Tell us about yourself
I've been a writing teacher for over 30 years and love helping people go from "I'm not a good writer" to "Holy $#*! I wrote that?!" and embrace the power of the right words. I worked in outdoor environmental education in rural Argentina for 22 years and also taught athletes to get their degrees online (this was before 2020, when it became common). Now I work exclusively with passionate entrepreneurs in my membership, Get Content Confident. I am a total "word nerd." I love language and teaching my clients all the secrets to making words work in their favor... in a good way! I shine when my clients get their authentic message and powerful content out there and grow their business in a way that feels good. That's the key!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Writing content for a billboard in Times Square and writing a bestselling book on copywriting were milestones. But my biggest accomplishments come when a client tells me, "The copy you wrote made me a lot of money." That never gets old!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Being responsible for everything can be overwhelming. It gets lonely.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Align with your passion to serve.
- Get help. Don't try to do it all on your own. Invest in a mentor or coach with the experience to see all the things you are missing.
- Feed your soul. To show up as your best in your business, you need to shine from the inside, which means meditation, exercise in nature, great food, creative projects, and tons of free time with family and friends are a priority.

Your authentic message is your power. Make sure it is working for you. Once you're authentically aligned with your core message, offer, and vision for the future, MAGIC happens & transforms your life. That's the happy zone I live and work in.
