What's your business, and who are your customers?
New Phase Blends is an organization that specializes in blending cannabinoids, like CBD (cannabidiol), with other natural compounds in order to help bring relief to people experiencing discomforts.
Tell us about yourself
I was injured while on Active Duty in US Army. This caused me to seek out some natural, alternative ways to deal with recovering from a spinal cord injury. After discovering how effective CBD was for me, I decided to start my own CBD company that utilizes my own formulations.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
By far, the biggest accomplishment is being able to help others effectively deal with their discomforts in life in a safe and natural way.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Determining where to put your efforts can be challenging. There are a LOT of hats to wear when it comes to running a small business. One day you might be needed in one area, while the next, you are needed in a completely different part of operations. As a leader, it is your responsibility to place yourself in the areas that have the opportunity to cause the most friction. If you cannot figure out where these areas are, you will struggle.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Stop talking yourself out of it.
- Failures are okay and VERY normal.
- Put your money back into the business for at least two years.
