What's your business, and who are your customers?
I teach Afrohouse dance for everyone and of all ages. My main goal is to share my passion and share a moment of well-being and letting go in a group. My customers are all people who are looking for sporting activity, full of energy and cardio but while having fun!
Tell us about yourself
I have been dancing for 20 years, and it has always been my passion. I have an association in France with which we have done dance shows, dance classes, and events. Now that I am in Montreal, it is a logical continuation for me to be able to continue in Montréal doing the same activity. I can put my own style and personality into the way I teach.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
As a business owner, my biggest achievement is to have managed to organize a free event with a DJ, which ended up being my most profitable event. My second biggest achievement is to have créateur my brand and T-shirt and see friends and family with them.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
For me, one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is staying focused on your goals and believing in your deep convictions. Stay surrounded by people with the same mindset.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
The first thing - surround yourself with people who are already entrepreneurs to get advice from people already in the business.
Second, you absolutely have to believe in yourself; at least you have to keep this in your mind anytime,
Third, go and catch your dreams !!! We all have only one life; let's enjoy it.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
My favorite phrase is "If you can dream it, you can do it." That means if you are really able to dream about it, to see it, to visualize it properly, then you can do IT, so JUST DO IT as NIKE said!
