Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in coaching but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Karyn Klapecki, founder of Inspired Pathways, located in Toronto, ON, Canada.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

So many wonderful people try to motivate others and coach them to succeed. I have found that the compulsions we have to think and act from our old and personal blueprints must be released first, at the deepest level. Then the joy, peace, and happiness of life will surface naturally. My business is to teach and coach the simple steps that will bring people true success in life when practiced regularly. I've worked with many tools over the years, being trained in medicine and human behavior, and I truly believe these techniques will create the change for you.

Tell us about yourself

I was trained in Family Medicine and Psychiatry and also taught for many years at the post-grad level. I kept wondering what true health and happiness required and searched many areas for answers. Twenty-two years ago, I found the Sedona Method, became an international teacher of it, and my own transformation was incredible. I want others to access this path if they are looking for what really works to shift their lives.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have discovered that by just trusting my own path to what made sense and what brought more happiness into my life, my life expanded, and so did my style of business. Now, it feels like a blessing every time. I teach a group of people at one of my Retreats. My greatest joy is when others have the kinds of realizations I have had, using these tools.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I'm not gifted as a marketer, and I'd like more people to simply know that there is a path that creates real change. Many programs are juggling the building blocks in our visions of reality, and that doesn't do the trick. It helps, as do many therapies, but the real change occurs from becoming aware, present, and willing to let go of compulsions.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find the business you truly love (not the fantasy of what it will bring you).
  2. Engage with people who are inspired, as you are, in the product or service, and develop a team that simply loves doing what they are doing - working with you, not for you.
  3. Patience, internal self-reflection, letting go of compulsions to succeed. You have to move beyond what your current thinking is... success and next steps unfold if you let them.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

A shift in attitude towards life from depending solely on yourself, your visions, and your to-do list to trusting something much bigger than you are - life itself, is a requirement for true happiness.
