Tell us about yourself

I have always loved eating and creating delicious food. My parents were big ''foodies" before it was popular. I learned on the job, working in restaurants for ten years before opening my restaurants, Aioli, and Nectar, in Cincinnati. in 2017, I left the restaurant world and opened my personal chef service for prior restaurant clients. I've been busy ever since. In 2021, I added functional nutritional counseling services after completing a course from the Functional Nutrition Alliance.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Staying interested and engaged with my evolving business for 20-plus years. Providing my own income.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Making the sacrifices often needed in regards to family time, personal time, and income.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Have a real passion for what you do, do your research( business plan), and seek out or hire those who have the expertise in areas that you do not.
