Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in marketing and content creation but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Natascha Nobert-Laurin, founder, and CEO of Nanola Marketing, located in Montreal, QC, Canada.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
Nanola Marketing is a one-stop-shop for social media marketing, content creation, and brand development! My customers are primarily in the retail and healthcare sector. Mental health and fashion hold a very close place in my heart, so having clients in that field makes it so rewarding and motivating!
Tell us about yourself
I am a social media strategist and content development expert. I have helped reshape the digital content and social media landscape for brands such as Reitmans Canada Limited, Sports Experts, and Atmosphere. I created Nanola Marketing to change the digital landscape to connect and develop meaningful relationships through creative content and digital marketing strategy. It is much more than a marketing agency; it is a business created to connect and impact change through genuine human connection!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Learning to put my limits and saying no when I feel the match isn't great with a client. I want to go above profitability and believe that great work comes when you're inspired by a company's mission, values, and products!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Wearing ALL of the different hats. I juggle at least ten different tasks each day, and even though it's very rewarding, I need to remind myself to take breaks, haha!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Just start! An idea will never become a reality unless you take the leap. Having the creative freedom to do whatever has not only given me a new sense of purpose but has reconnected me to my passion and inspired me to keep going further!
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
If you're thinking of starting a business, take the leap. You'll never know unless you try! Also, if you have questions, feel free to contact me; I'd love to connect!
