What's your business, and who are your customers?
Naked Scents Candle Co. focuses on curating products that promote self-care, warm ambiance, and aroma therapy. Our customer base consists of individuals interested in soy-free candles, creating an inviting and warm ambiance with our crackling wooden wicks and simple and minimalist vessels.
Tell us about yourself
I've always enjoyed being creative. When the pandemic happened, I tried to find an outlet to take my mind off of the stressors of working through the pandemic. Candles became my outlet. I would play some relaxing music, blend different fragrances to develop scents that I would love, and use the candles to relax and unwind after work. I currently work a full-time job and take care of my children; making candles is my outlet. I'm excited to create something that I can share with others to enjoy.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing that comes with being a business owner is time. I've learned that I must give the same time and energy to my business as I give to my job. Some nights are long, but the feedback from my customers is worth my efforts.
