What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am in the software consulting business, based in India, and founder and author of the blog mycodetricks. I have served clients across the globe in 22 countries and have proven that talent knows no border. My client includes business houses, individuals, students, and small entrepreneurs looking to automate their daily repetitive work in excel, google sheets, and MS outlook. I enjoy writing articles on programming tricks on various MS office products and Google App Script. I also provide online consultancy in the automation of Microsoft office products like Excel, Outlook, etc., and Google products, which helps my clients in saving their time in doing repetitive work on Excel spreadsheets and Google sheets.

My name is Ashwani. I am a VBA developer. I enjoy helping my clients, providing them with software solutions in MS office products like Excel, Outlook, Google sheets, and power BI. This helps them to automate their daily work and visualize their data which further helps them to make key decisions. I used to help my colleagues with my services, and this gave me the idea to widen the scope of my services to other people as well. I feel very motivated and happy when clients provide their feedback on my services and how that gets benefitted from using my services.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
At times, when I have more business in hand, I subcontract my work to other developers. This leads to the generation of employment for others.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Finding people with talent and good skills.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
If you have talent and can solve others' problems, you can easily do business. Start with a small step, specialize in your area and go ahead.
