What's your business, and who are your customers?
We offer personal chef and catering services, including plated, buffet, private dinners, and breakfast. Local athletes and people visiting Orlando renting vacation homes are 90% of our business.
Tell us about yourself
I grew up in New York, always surrounded by food in an Italian household. Food was not the original plan. I went to school for criminal justice. My first jobs were in kitchens which I enjoyed much more. After school, I continued my journey of working in the food and beverage business, trying to work at the nicest places to gain the most knowledge.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
The best I get out of this business is being able to be a part of people's most significant and memorable moments in life. Weddings, anniversaries, reunions, etc. I'm able to help build these memories that people will always remember.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
As a small business owner, you wear the hats of many roles. You are the entire voice of the company. Versus a bigger business that has individuals are handling different departments. This puts the
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
You have to be willing to make it your life. It's likely going to take more work than you think. You have to love what you do. If you do not, it will show, and the business grows to hate will, despise, and fail. The aspect is that success takes time and nothing usually is an overnight victory.
