We provide Shea Butter and Black Soap cosmetics. We provide products for those looking to be healthier or maybe have a vegan lifestyle! We are sustainable and support women cooperatives in Africa. Non-GMO handmade in Canada!
Tell us about yourself
We started Mudfarm in 2013 after using multiple products and having horrible skin off and on for years. We started using Shea Butter and Black Soap and used it for 6 years before we decided that everyone needed this product in their homes as it was so versatile and all-natural to heal and repair the skin on a cellular level.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We have made it to 10 years in business and ranked as one of the Premier Suppliers of Shea Butter and Black Soap in Canada.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
You have to keep your attitude on the right wavelength and not get distracted! You need to stay the course even when things may be down! Business goes up and down, and you have to be able to withstand pressure and timelines! Be ready to work 16 to 20-hour days to meet guidelines!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
