What's your business, and who are your customers?

I own a professional speaking company that caters to a large variety of topics, including personal goals, leadership, first responders, and many more.

Tell us about yourself

I am a four-year veteran of the Air Force, a retired firefighter/paramedic, and currently a professor. I have spent my entire life trying to help others, and now I have the opportunity to help others by sharing my experiences and life philosophies.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I recently hosted my own show entitled “Coach Camp’s tools for leadership.”

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things is remaining accountable to myself so that I can always lead by example.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Only pursue something if you are willing to give one hundred percent, and this can be easily accomplished if you’re business is your passion.
  2. Never chase the paycheck; chase the passion.
  3. Lastly, do something that is bigger than yourself.
