What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are an Italian-American fast casual restaurant specializing in artisan pizza and sandwiches. We also provide catering for corporate and social events, as well as shipping our famous lasagna nationwide.
Tell us about yourself
I've always loved seeing the reaction on someone's face when they eat food they love. Making people happy with good food is what motivates me to get up every day and try to connect with as many people as possible.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is being able to say I've been able to create a well-recognized local brand doing something that I love. I transitioned from being a real estate lawyer to a restaurant guy after realizing that it's important to love what you do.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is trying to put yourself in the "other guy's" shoes. Empathy is very important when it comes to dealing with guests and team members. Everyone has their own point of view, and it's important to acknowledge that.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Do it now. Don't wait. It doesn't have to be perfect. Just start.
