What's your business, and who are your customers?
We sell Love Tees and heart necklaces....items that remind us that we are love, loved, and to share the love. My customers are everyone and anyone looking to purchase an item to express love to themselves or others.
Tell us about yourself
I was in an unconscious self-loathing place, looking for love everywhere except myself. I had lost the true meaning of love, which is to love yourself first, then become the beacon of love to everyone you encounter.
I am motivated by love for myself, love for and from my daughter and partner. All I want is to share my love with others. I do a heart meditation every morning to keep expanding my heart to love more. I move through my day, seeing hearts everywhere I go.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Seeing happy customers with their hearts full of love. Warms my heart when people tell me how happy they are to wear their love items and bring smiles to everyone they encounter.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
As the owner of an independent business, it is hard being the designer, customer service, shipping department, and accountant.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Just get started even if you don't have the money to start; it will figure itself out along the way.
- Surround yourself with people who tell you to go for it, not the nay-sayers.
- You can change the product anytime you want; nothing is perfect, make mistakes and stay open to learning from your mistakes. Don't give up.
