What's your business, and who are your customers?
We’re a creative studio specializing in strategic branding and copywriting. Monika is our graphic designer and visual identity specialist, and Alex is our wordsmith and strategist. We work with lifestyle brands that are connected to nature and seek to make a positive impact in the world. Some brands we’ve worked with include slow fashion, well-being, health and fitness, and luxury stays. Helping small businesses develop their brand is what we love!
Tell us about yourself
We loved our jobs as English teachers, but we knew deep down that it wasn’t our forever career path. We wanted to build something together. Something that would bring us joy and allow us to express our creative natures. By combining our skills, passion, and courage, we created Moon Studio Designs. It’s more than a business to us. It’s what connects us to the incredible community we’ve built over the years.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Along with starting something from scratch, building our future together is our biggest accomplishment to date. Let’s see what the future brings!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Being good at your job is one thing; running a business is another. There’s a steep learning curve for new business owners (we’re still learning every day). But at the same time, it’s exciting!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

- Progress is better than perfection.
