What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm an Astrologer, Brand Strategist, and Content Creator. I help women develop their relationships with themselves by cultivating more self-acceptance and love through astrology so that they can transform all aspects of their life and gain more peace.
Tell us about yourself
I went through a very difficult breakup a few years ago that completely changed my life. During this time, I got a birth chart reading from an Astrologer because I was curious as to why I've only dated Scorpios. This one reading gave me so much peace and perspective, and I knew then I wanted to help people see the bigger picture of their lives, their relationship patterns, their blind spots, and their career strengths and challenges. What motivates me is helping people through their healing journey so that they can move forward and be aligned and empowered.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is helping people see the possibilities they have in their life. The best feeling I get is seeing that I've helped my clients make a breakthrough and take action to shift their life in a positive direction. Another achievement is growing my online community, Moon Sign Creative, where I host monthly new moon and full moon events, as well as my community on Instagram, Tiktok, and Youtube.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing for me currently has been feeling lonely as a solopreneur. Although I've created an amazing community, I miss having co-workers, and that's definitely one of my goals for the future. It's easy to want to give up when things get hard and when you don't see the growth you anticipate. This is where mindset and community come in, as well as side jobs if you need them when starting out.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Stay consistent. This can be so hard in the beginning, but it really is life-changing. Develop a routine that really works for you.
- Invest in your mindset, either through coaches, astrologers, courses, books, etc. This will transform how you perceive your life and what's possible for you.
- Be real! Share your story, be vulnerable, and also have fun! It's okay to put yourself out there, but doing it anyway will set you apart.
