What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a holistic nutritionist, and I help women who have felt at war with their bodies find peace and freedom in their wellness journeys. With a lifestyle approach to health with a sustainable approach to eating, I help women learn how to nourish their bodies and show up brighter in their lives.
Tell us about yourself
My path to nutrition was sparked by my own diagnoses and a deep desire to find root-cause healing. I lived so many years with symptoms that kept me down, and I found such much more life when I learned how to properly care for my body. Knowing I'm helping other women show up for a fuller life, that's all I need to keep going.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Every woman who lives even a little bit freer in her life because of my work is a win for me.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
As a solo entrepreneur, you have to wear every hat. You have to learn to step into each role, even ones you might not be comfortable in. The expansion is never-ending, as is the to-do list.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Get clear on the mission of your business. It will help you make decisions and will keep you going when things get hard.
- Instead of trying to fill the gaps of what you aren't good at, lean into your gifts and amplify what you were made to do.
- Progress over perfection.
