What's your business, and who are your customers?
I wear several hats. I run a private practice as a clinical psychologist, and I also run an outdoor wellness program.

I love learning about people and helping them help themselves.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is the outdoor wellness program I started last October. In just nine months, there are already over 1100 members in the group. I never thought I could combine my love of the outdoors with my work as a psychologist, and here I am. I get to do the two things I love most at the same time!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Meeting other people's expectations. Since the pandemic, there has been a huge demand for mental health services, and it is difficult for someone with a small practice, like myself, to meet that demand. It hurts to have to turn people away because I simply do not have the time to see them.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Remember the meaning and why you wanted to start this business in the first place. Know your values about your business and how you want to run it. Prioritize meaning over growth.
