What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a chiropractor that helps people get out of pain and improve their physical health locally in Alcoa, TN, and throughout the world.
Tell us about yourself
I was an injured baseball player in college with a long family history of spinal surgeries without much success. After having failed interventions with my primary care doctor, orthopedic doctor, a physical therapist, home remedies, and an athletic trainer - I found myself in a chiropractor's office and willing to try anything for my lower back and hip pain. The chiropractor felt that my body wasn't moving well and fixed it with her hands. I walked into that office bent over and in pain and walked out feeling like a million bucks. The next day I changed my major because I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to have people walk into my office feeling bad and walk out feeling better. That's what I deliver every day to my patients and clients.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Being the top-grossing clinic in our county.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Mostly that nothing is ever complete, and nothing is ever completely handled. It's actually pretty similar to being a homeowner. There's always something you "should" be working on.
