What's your business, and who are your customers?

We provide HR Consulting and Optimization services to help small to mid-size businesses reduce the unnecessary costs, time wasted, and lost productivity related to people and HR Management. We do this through cost-effective Hr Consulting and Optimization services that allows business owners, hr leaders, and management to focus on the core business functions. Ultimately, what sets us apart from others is the fact that we genuinely care about empowering SMB business owners, HR Leaders, and Managers who want to make a difference in the lives of their customers and do right by their employees.

Our job is to help make your HR and Talent Management operations something easy to manage and that focuses on helping them reduce stress, be happy and energetic, and know the work they do is impactful rather than mundane and pointless. Our job is such that leadership and management and employees end up having a workplace where life is made simple, work is fun, and everybody ends a day seeing the fruits of their labor both as individuals and a team...not cogs in gear.

Tell us about yourself

I am a multinational of South Africa, Canada, and Pakistan who found that traditional approaches to doing business, Hr, and people management were failing people in their ability to go to work with purpose and have that purpose be rewarded favorably, namely: a workplace where everybody felt respect in terms of their earnings, work environment, and cohesive purpose as stakeholders in a company.

Instead, I found that business owners and leadership had been following repeated outdated approaches to business, HR, and expectations that were never grounded in reality. Ultimately, this would impact all internal stakeholders.

Coming from accounting, HR, process thinking, analytics, mindset, adult learning, and other inter-sectional backgrounds of skills and expertise, I came to a very different conclusion, namely: breaking conventional approaches is the key to success. If we follow established norms of behavior, practices, and non-ethical and impractical approaches, we continue to be the cause of our own demise in business and life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to understand ahead of time the impact of intersectional solutions for HR Consulting and Optimization services that are now only beginning to be understood and valued by conventional business owners, Hr Leaders, and management.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

It's two things, really a few things if I may, namely:

  1. Perspective, persistence, and open-mindedness are the key to success.
  2. If you're in it for money or to be a boss, then you're in the wrong business.
  3. Stagnancy, ego, and confirmation bias are a reflection of our own fear, excuses, and not wanting to focus on the solution that's best for everybody within reason.
  4. Commitment is a three-way street as follows: to yourself, to your stakeholders, and to society at large.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Focus on finding a solution where your talent makes a positive impact on others.
  2. Hard work, consistency, sacrifice, perseverance, and success are predicated on self and other accountability.
  3. Success is not your right; it's built on your own sacrifice and being yourself and others accountable for your successes and failures and learning from them without shame.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

People need to understand that knowledge, expertise, and solutions to our own business problems are a shared and long-term effort. Nothing wrong with not having all the solutions, and nothing wrong with facing tough times. Staying stagnant by being closed off to solutions through self-created fear, self-imposed scarcity, and the inability to value proactive solutions cripples our success in business and life.
