What's your business, and who are your customers?
At Miraculous Maids, we supply time. The time that our customers can spend with their families, enjoying their living spaces, and relaxing after a stressful day. The time that would otherwise be spent scrubbing, dusting, sweeping, and cleaning their largest investment - their home. We provide a premium cleaning service that is reliable, trustworthy, and miraculous!
Tell us about yourself
I take time seriously; it's the only thing that none of us can buy, make more of, or squander. I have built our business around this methodology, and I love selling our customers the freedom of their time every day. Miraculous Maids Inc. was founded in 2021 as a division of the Mosaic Home Services group of companies. Mosaic provides startup funding, mentorship, and administrative services to businesses in the home improvement sector. Without Mosaic's help, Miraculous Maids could not have grown as fast as it has.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
At Miraculous Maids, we empower our team of professional cleaners to build successful small businesses, and seeing them succeed is an incredible honor.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
COVID-19 has presented an incredible amount of challenges for businesses of all sizes, and we're no exception. Finding ways to safely enter homeowners' homes and deliver service through various stages of lockdown stretched our business to the extreme, but we're proud to have overcome it!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Understand your customer & what you're really selling them.
- Be ruthless about the type of customer you want and the type you don't want. Don't compromise your values or take on clients that don't fit your business model.
- Don't get bogged down in data. Keep it simple!
