What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a nail salon and spa. We offer various services like artificial nails, pedicures, eyelash extensions, and facials. We mainly provided services to the surrounding communities.
Tell us about yourself
I started this business because it gives me an opportunity to help women find a place to grow and become successful. Knowing that every day we have women coming together to help each other out and draw out each person’s creativity is very rewarding.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is providing my team with a career where they can flourish.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest part is sometimes making a decision that’s best for the business isn’t always best for the team.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be passionate about your business.
- You have to put in the time and effort to be successful.
- Treat your team well. Remember, without your front line, there is no business. A business requires a lot of people to make it work.
