What's your business, and who are your customers?

BluSky Wellness is about living your best life, using a commonsense wellness approach to solve everyday challenges that we all face. At BluSky Wellness, we do all this with a positive, compassionate, holistic approach.

We all are looking for love, good health, happiness, and prosperity for overall fulfillment, and BluSky thinking is just that. There should be no limits to what you can achieve so you can feel balance and contentment in your life, and having the “right guides” along the way to assist us doesn’t hurt either!

Tell us about yourself

I am an experienced psychic medium who, at a very young age, was foretelling things to myself and my family through various spiritual abilities and channeling techniques. I discovered my gift of palm reading at the age of 16 and was fascinated by how we are already blueprinted (lines in our hands) with our destiny from the moment we are conceived. Helping others uncover their journey with predictions and insights is what brought me to where I am today.

Also, my interest in psychology and how the human mind works directed me to get my degree in social psychology, and then life happened! I met my husband (of 33 years) we raised four children together. I also studied to become a nurse as my desire to help others never left me. Twenty years later, I returned to practicing my spiritual and mystical gifts when I got called out at a psychic fair in front of hundreds of audience members by the psychic on stage yelling directly at me, “what are you waiting for?”. He read my mind! What was I waiting for?

I believe everyone has some level of psychic ability but has not mastered their higher attunements in ways to manifest their wants, needs, hopes, and desires. As a trained Lightarian Reiki Master, I have reached high levels of attunements and can also align my chakras, so I am “balanced” when I’m called to give insights and guidance. When I am connecting with other spiritual beings and empowering them to live their best life, nothing else matters.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Taking the leap of faith by leaving a high salary, very reputable, and a stable government job to follow my dream and passion of helping others in a non-traditional lifestyle. The traditional lifestyle works for so many people, and it’s a very comfortable place to be (family, house, car, job, bills). For us, traveling full-time anywhere and everywhere in our 38ft RV Motorhome along with our fur babies while meeting new people and being in new situations is exciting. It is filled with so much anticipation, not fearing the unknown and embracing my mystical gift. We realized we were nomads; our life motto became live carefree, work remotely & travel freely. During this process of our second journey and discovery, I realized that I wanted to …TELL YOUR STORY!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

For me, the hardest part was leaving a fulfilling profession where I was already helping people and making a difference in their lives. I did not “promote” myself to my professional colleagues or talk about what my real passion was. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how my psycho-social abilities would be accepted in the traditional medical field. Plus, having to balance the gift of my passion for healing others with essential business operations brought on new challenges that I was not accustomed to. Besides the usual challenges of doing it all yourself, competition, financial risks, etc., for me, it was - social media! Creating content, learning the lingo/buzz words and hashtags, as well as when to post and why we need to use social media, was and is a steep learning curve. Developing my website took me literally a hundred thousand years, but I finally did it, Lol. Then I met a fabulous team that specializes in all this craziness, and life became easier - that’s manifesting and believing you can do it. Don’t worry about the “how.” Just believe you are already doing it and with great success!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don’t question your passion and drive. Believe in your value. Believe in your worth as clients will come; they will stay with you; they also will discover your worth.
  2. Building relationships is very important. Network yourself to everyone whether they believe in your product/services or not. Word of mouth is amazing; 90% of my “new “clients come to me because one of my regular clients referred them to me. That’s the highest compliment a business can get.
  3. Reviews! Getting feedback, good or bad, allows you to make necessary changes to your business and keep it growing. This is also where your social media plays a huge part! Staying on top of “your channel” so people continue to “tune in” is essential (excuse my play on words, lol).

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I have also assisted families with missing loved ones. The Mystic Minky psychic detective area is of great importance to me. Having the ability to give families closure during such difficult circumstances is something I cannot ignore. Being able to communicate and the ability to connect with those who have passed on and give peace of mind to all are very important to me. This area of my psychic gift I will be giving more attention to.
