What's your business, and who are your customers?

We help organizations level up their performance through counter-cultural approaches to improving employee engagement, retention, talent attraction, and mindful leadership. Ultimately impacting their ability to drive innovation, foster creativity, and solve the complex, critical challenges we’re facing in today’s world.

We affect change at the root level—the individual. We empower them through keynotes, workshops, and coaching with the skills, mindsets, and strategies of basketball’s elite, blended with mindfulness and emotional intelligence, to unlock the human potential within. Tell us about yourself

In 2020 challenges that were lingering in the background, like mental health, purpose, and belonging, were immediately pushed front and center. In 2021 the Great Resignation followed, leaving companies with employee engagement, retention, talent attraction, and leadership challenges that can’t be solved long-term simply with a pay increase. Covid changed what current employees and job seekers need, expect, and want from their work experience and those that lead them. Despite these challenges, this moment in time is an incredible opportunity for companies that create a super compelling offer and value proposition, which can create an immediate impact and position them to thrive in the future.

I’ve blended a diverse background of working with some of basketball’s elite, personal adversity, and a mindfulness journey to help leaders and businesses unlock their potential. In my work, I share mindsets, strategies, and exercises through keynotes, workshops, and coaching with individual contributors and leaders at F500 companies and leading industry associations. Some of these include the likes of IBM, AmFam, Cisco, Morgan Stanley, and SHRM. When you combine these leadership competencies with emerging research for the future of the workplace, you can set yourself up to inspire, impact and influence your people, your organization, and maybe even the world.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been seeing the success of our clients. Hearing stories of transformation in their personal and professional lives after a keynote or workshop is incredibly fulfilling.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I think one of the toughest things for business owners is managing their energy and prioritizing their time to be spent in their area of highest contribution to the business.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be purpose-driven and find a problem that you are passionate about solving in the world.
  2. Run lean and reinvest profits early on to scale.
  3. Find your area of highest contribution and delegate as much as possible.
