What's your business, and who are your customers?

I work with good-hearted people who are conflicted about having money and wealth and are ready to experience rapport with their values and financial success.

Tell us about yourself

As I built a financial trading firm, it became apparent that some of my traders did very well, and others were not able to be successful. Why? It turned out the differences were not ability, knowledge, or skills but their mindset and internal limitations. The success of my company depended on the mindset of my traders. As a former therapist, I realized that our relationship with money, meaning, and success is often conflicted. Liberating people and their relationship to money give me immense satisfaction and a contribution to a better world for my grandchildren.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Building a retail operation in Ohio. Building a trading firm. Building a private practice coaching professional money managers and entrepreneurs. Writing a book, "A Private Conversation with Money."

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

For me, it's keeping your priorities on the goal and stopping spending time in the weeds.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Create your dream service or product.
  2. Find ways to test it before you spend money on a minimally viable product.
  3. Dance between creating value that others don't see and testing it in the real world.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I use the "Golden Keys" for mindset expansion.

  1. Awareness of our physiology, emotions, and the quality of our thoughts.
  2. Acceptance of what we discover without judgment.
  3. Agency on how we experience the world and decide what we want next.
