Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Andres Wiest, Founder of Millennial Zen Coaching, located in Ore, Utah, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a certified Life and Success coach. I focus on innovation and resiliency in the personal and professional lives of my clients. My customers are individuals who feel like they need to make a change to feel excited about their lives each day. And companies who feel like they need to innovate to stay relevant in their industry. I also help clients develop their personal resiliency when making these changes make it difficult to stay the course.

Tell us about yourself

I'm 41 years old and have had a unique life. I was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at the age of four and paralyzed in 2002 at the age of twenty-one after having to reevaluate my life due to my disability and realizing that I wasn't living my purpose. I learned about the Jay Shetty Certification School and started my journey to become a coach because I wanted to help others in a similar situation. I know what it's like to face challenges and have used innovation and resiliency coaching as a way to overcome them. I am motivated to help clients go from their current reality to their ideal reality.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

When I received my state business license and realized that I was living my dreams. And seeing when a client makes a shift in their lives.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

All of the logistics of being a legal business owner. It seems frivolous but vital.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know the value you bring to your clients' lives.
  2. Find a mentor and a coach.
  3. Don't be afraid to fail.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Anyone who connects with me will receive a free gift.
