What's your business, and who are your customers?
Hempire Supplements is a company based around combining legal & non-intoxicating cannabinoids like CBD with other powerful compounds for game-changing formulas for fitness, wellness, and vitality. We create supplements to help support different aspects of a healthy, happy, and balanced lifestyle.
Tell us about yourself
I am currently a college student and have always had a passion for entrepreneurship. I first came up with my idea in 2020 as I started working out and trying various pre-workout supplements. Over the next three years, I gained a true passion for nutraceuticals and herbalism and decided to create my own company to perfect the space. Seeing my vision come to life motivates me every day to keep working my a** off until I am satisfied.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Receiving my first official R&D sample order from my manufacturer and officially registering my LLC are some of my greatest accomplishments as a business owner. Seeing my vision come to life has been extremely fulfilling.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest parts of being a business owner is accepting the fact that not everything is going to go your way. Sometimes companies won't respond, and sometimes, a post will get poor engagement. Accepting these outcomes and persevering is what leads to accomplishing great things.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
One of the biggest tips is accepting that things won't always go your way and persevering forward. Another tip is to make connections. Connections can go a very long way. I would recommend joining LinkedIn and other social media platforms to make these connections. Lastly, don't feed into negativity. There will always be people that try to put you and your business down. Usually, they are just jealous or uneducated. Although it is not easy, ignoring hatred and persevering forward will set you apart from the business owners that fail.
