What's your business, and who are your customers?
People feel like sh*t too often, and when we are in a negative state, we often do stupid things or avoid doing the things we are meant to do. That makes us feel even worse and creates a vicious circle. The thing is, FEELING GOOD IS TRAINABLE. Microshift is a method and a tool that allows people to access reflective intelligence, train their executive function and focus on doing what matters most.
Tell us about yourself
What got me started was the extent and universality of the problem and a personal experience with it. What keeps me going every day are the signals we are getting from the users telling us that we have built something that is helping people and the meaning this gives me.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I think it's probably getting a few people on the team to trust us and believe in the idea early on. Without them, we would not be able to bootstrap Microshift.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
I think the hardest thing is knowing when my ideas are inspired by something bigger than me as opposed to my ego wanting to be right and giving others room to create or make mistakes vs. speaking out when I need others to follow my lead.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
