Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Meshaelle Pate, Founder of Intuitive Harmony Warrior, located in McKinney, TX, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm an intuitive coach! I bring life coaching and spirituality together to help women love themselves to have peace. My coaching is both practical and magical. My clients get to know who they are and what their purpose is.

Tell us about yourself

My business grew from the realization I was utterly lost in motherhood. My daughter was leaving the house, and my son would soon follow. I had no idea what I would do with my time after being a stay-at-home mom for a long time. I was good at supporting my husband and my children but was lost on how to defend myself.

The realization that I did not want to sit around and wait to be needed to feel validated started my journey. I decided to get a certification in Transformational Nutrition Coaching, which made me question my mindset. Once I got my mindset stuff worked out, I realized I still had work to do. That led me to start exploring my spiritual gifts. My motivation to get up and deliver my message daily is to believe that when each person finds peace, we can make this world better.

We are all energetic souls, and when we tap into our peace, we vibrate at a different level. Every person can bring peace and comfort to others, even strangers, just by how they shake. How can I not get up and do my part for world peace? When I work with women, who get more excitement in life, have more peace inside themselves, and live an authentic life, I get to live my soul's mission.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is watching every client experience more joy, peace, and happiness. When I can lead a client in a soul-led meditation to reconnect to their purpose, I know I am changing her life and the life of her children. An example is a client I worked with, a single mom of three girls.

As the mom stepped into her confidence, her girls did, also. The teenager even broke up with a boyfriend because the mom's new confidence inspired her. I had never spoken to the teenager, but my coaching with the mom changed her life, also. I have had clients release emotional blocks and go on to marry the love of their life. My clients are my most significant accomplishment!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Me getting the message to the ones that need to hear it. There is a lot of noise in the online world. The hardest thing for me is getting my message of love, peace, and happiness to those that can't hear it amongst all the hate in the world.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Find what you are genuinely passionate about. You will need to work in your business daily, so find what lights you up!

The second tip is to think about what you want your life to look like, then design your business to match. If you want to travel and have flexibility, don't open a brick-and-mortar shop.

The third tip, find someone that you can be accountable for but who also supports you. I have had weekly calls with other coaches since my certification program. These coaches have helped and corrected me from the beginning.
