What's your business and who are your customers?

My clients are mid-career leaders who aspire to be extraordinary in their roles, yet they are constantly fighting to limiting beliefs that hold them back. They want to make clear-headed, focused actions with confidence and take more control of their work and lives.

Tell us about yourself

Starting with being a high school English teacher in my early 20s, I began to realize that I am wired to be the catalyst who helps others learn and grow. I moved to the business sector in the training department of a bank. From that time on, I have been a leader and supported leaders so that work and life can be a more positive experience for all. When a client makes statements like: "I don't have that awful feeling in my tummy when I leave for work anymore.", I know I am living my purpose.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My clients' accomplishments.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Helping people see that investing in themselves pays off. Also, managing the roller coaster of the amount of business is difficult.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do something you love.
  2. As much as possible, hire others to do what you don't enjoy or you don't do well.
  3. Get support and guidance from other business owners, suppliers, and people in your field.

What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance?

I spend time with friends, my family, my dog, and my books. My spiritual life, service to others, and mental fitness practices bring me joy.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I believe that leaders exist to magnify their strengths, the strengths of those around them, and the success of the enterprise they serve.

Where can people find you and your business?

I have a new website that I am tweaking.
