What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Mental Health Support Network is a registered charity founded 11 years ago. We support over 3000 people with group peer support sessions three nights a week by Zoom. We have 15 volunteers. We save lives, and we have video testimonials to prove it!

I have mental health issues in my family, and I wanted to give back to the mental health community.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is building a network that saves lives and has helped thousands of people!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Keeping the network going and running smoothly and recruiting volunteers.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be prepared for a lot of work. Use volunteer Toronto to find good volunteers. Recruit a strong leadership team.
