What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a mindset coach, speaker, and yoga instructor. I teach mindset tools to those with various illnesses and struggles in order to take back their power, heal their bodies and find the path to an abundantly healthy life.
Tell us about yourself
I was born with a chronic genetic illness called Cystic Fibrosis; It is caused by a defective gene that makes the body produce an abnormally thick and sticky fluid called mucus. This mucus builds up in the breathing passages of the lungs and in the pancreas. Over time patients' lungs become scared and eventually will need to be transplanted in order to stay alive. My entire life, I knew I was destined for greatness, more than what my physical body would ever allow me. I discovered the tools that I now teach my clients in order to harness the power of mind over matter that bring real miracles to life. With these tools, I have been blessed with a healthy body that no longer tests positive for Cystic Fibrosis.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Seeing any big or small wins in my clients' lives. Be it their own health, bridging gaps with money beliefs, healing relationships, or just starting their journey toward their dreams. A win for them feels like a win for me as well.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Once I started to gain momentum, it was keeping with the daily to-do's. (i.e., social posts, website, course creations, marketing & sales. Wearing all the hats can be a bit overwhelming.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Outsource the things you are not great at.
- Fail Forward- if things don't work out a certain way, pivot and keep going!
- Hire a Mentor/Business Coach and always be willing to learn and grow.
