What's your business, and who are your customers?

My name is Melissa Mitchell, and I am the Owner of Wandermint Creative, a YouTube video marketing agency & coaching business. I help entrepreneurs build their social media following on autopilot. I offer a variety of services, including helping clients produce six months of specifically written, filmed, and targeted videos in only three days that will help them create brand recognition and customers for life.

Tell us about yourself

I first started out in the online world as a branding and social media manager, but I soon realized that all my clients were having the same problem - they didn't have enough content to attract their ideal clients, and creating content was burning them out. That is when I discovered the power of YouTube search and the ability to repurpose one video into multiple pieces of content. What motivates me each day is helping my clients take back time in their business so they can bring in more clients and make a bigger impact, all while working less.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Booking out my 1:1 business using organic youtube marketing alone.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Consistency. When you are managing other people's businesses, it can be hard sometimes to take the time to keep your own stuff running or come up with new ideas.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Create a routine and stick to it - this will help you manage your time.
  2. Hire a coach - don't try to do it all alone; with help, you will reach your goals faster, and it is always worth the investment.
  3. Do it, be scared, and don't worry about it being perfect. Perfectionism will keep you from taking action.
