I am a finance coach for moms and entrepreneurs that want to go debt-free and achieve financial freedom.
Tell us about yourself
I am a wife, girl mom, and business owner! I was a burnt-out high school math teacher in debt up to my ears. My family and I paid off $53,000 worth of debt in 12 months, so I could leave the classroom and start my own business. I started freelancing by helping small businesses with their social media needs. My love for money and finances quickly lead me to want to help other families like mine. Since then, I've been coaching others on their path to debt-free while also helping our family to achieve financial freedom.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is getting to help others with their financial goals.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
When you're a one-woman show, it can be hard to find community and support like you would at a typical 9-5.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Oh gosh, I would say number 1. go for it! Whatever your dream or business idea is, DO IT! Number 2, don't go at it alone. Find a mentor, a community, or a way to get plugged in with other like-minded business owners. Last, I would say charge your worth. Running a business and not charging appropriately is only going to exhaust you and burn you out quicker than you think.
