Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Meenakshi Suri, Founder of CoCreator Circle, Inc., located in Pinecrest, FL, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is CoCreator Circle, with a mission to co-create a world to benefit all beings by connecting people who are awakening to their journey of wholeness. It helps me to bring together all aspects of my varied educational and professional background across different countries. The business offers a two-pronged approach: On one hand, it provides a platform where curated teachers provide their classes of meditation, healing, holistic therapies, wellness, metaphysical studies, communication, and self-growth. Our customers are typically in their 30s and above, from the US, Europe, and India.

On the other hand, I offer a three-step signature program called Ground to Soar. This is an exclusive program dedicated to helping participants find and fulfill their life purpose. The three steps - Ground, Leap, and Soar - can be customized according to the participant's previous experience. My students are mainly adults, so they naturally have prior experience in many fields. The program can easily be customized to serve their requirements. Through in-person and online sessions, I have trained students from more than 20 countries worldwide to become healers and therapists. The platform brings co-creators together. The classes help to develop co-creator consciousness to help people to realize that what we do affects the whole world.

Tell us about yourself

With a Master's in Psychology and DIISc in Industrial Management, I have a rich background in Qualitative Marketing research, Psychology lecturing, from which I moved to become a certified Sujok lecturer therapist with International Sujok Association, a Reiki Master Teacher, and have many other certifications. I've been teaching for many years and realized a couple of years ago that I've to offer this as a business. I could have started the business in my name, as some of my students advised me, but I wanted to create something that could have a presence beyond me. What interests me is interconnection, for people to vibrate harmoniously together. It is not important for them to be of like mind because a healthy and sustainable creation requires different points of view, consciousness, and understanding. I'm finally finding the time to publish my books, with the first one called Focus and Perspective, which blends fiction with guidance to fine-tune one's perspective to make optimal decisions.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I feel my biggest accomplishment is that in the two years since its incorporation, CoCreator Circle has brought together presenters from all over the world to offer a variety of meaningful experiences ranging from didgeridoo meditation to regular Sunday meditations, Sujok and Reiki classes, sharing circles, and much more. It's very satisfying that my students are also established as therapists and healers. We offer weekly sessions online and also annual retreats.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The greatest challenge is to have the business be financially viable. Other challenges are finding time zones where much of the world is awake and knowing my potential clients and what they are looking for. One challenge I'm faced with at present is to determine if the business should stay as an Inc or should be a nonprofit.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Take time to meditate on what you are looking for in your business.
  2. Be prepared to give up something to achieve your goals.
  3. Consult your potential clients to fine-tune your offering.
