What's your business, and who are your customers?

MedaPeutics is a Concierge Healthcare on-demand company. We offer physical therapy, Chiropractic, exercise prescription, nutrition counseling, and health coaching. We are 100% mobile! We offer all services in the privacy of someone's personal home, community centers, retirement homes, adult day cares, or corporate businesses.

MedaPeutics Mission: To Teach Disease Prevention Through Wellness Strategies!

Tell us about yourself

When my father passed away from stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, I realized that the treatment chosen by his attending physicians, including chemical dependency through chemotherapy and radiation, was not healthy! Not only was his chemical dependency not healthy, but it also caused him to die quicker! No one (medical or other professionals) had trained or educated him on injury or illness prevention strategies. There had to be a better way!

I spent the next 13 years of my life obtaining several educational (graduate level) degrees to learn as much necessary information as possible to create prevention-based programs to help the public as a whole. The United States healthcare medical model is set up for disease maintenance or palliative care, which is secondary and tertiary care. Sadly, primary care doctors are still primary care physicians. This is incorrect. Primary care is Prevention, secondary care is maintenance, and tertiary care is palliative care. In America, we focus on secondary and tertiary care, not primary care! MedaPeutics intends to be at the forefront of changing the United States medical model to focus on primary care!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Teaching Prevention based health strategies so the public can be aware of their health options and health outcomes.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The most difficult thing about being a concierge healthcare business owner is not being able to treat more clients in one day!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. A Strong Business Plan!
  2. A Great Team of Like-Minded Individuals with the Same Purpose as You!
  3. A Great Accountant!

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

If you have a dream that creates change and provides a betterment for humanity, don't chase it. DO IT!
