What's your business, and who are your customers?
Maziply Toys is one of the largest interactive toy stores in the United States. To take the fun a step further, we also have laser tag, a mirror maze, a virtual playground, and ride-on plush animals.
Tell us about yourself
Maziply Toys started as a small online company that has grown through the years, thanks to our amazing customers. Today, Maziply Toys is an award-winning toy store.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Every time a customer walks out of our store with a smile or sends us an email telling us how our experience was like no other experience they have had. While this may seem like a small thing, nothing makes us feel better than knowing that we've done a great job for our customers.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
As a business owner, everyone relies on you. Customers, employees, the community, etc. It may be a lot of pressure, but ensuring that our customers always have the toys they are looking for, our employees always have an income to take home, and the community has a business to rely on, then I'm doing my job.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't be afraid to start small and grow in steps.
- Have multiple channels so that if one fails, you have others to fall back on.
- Know your numbers.
