What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is Maui Somatics. I assist people with chronic pain, anxiety, and fatigue to ignite their bodies ability to heal using the power of their subconscious minds so they can live freely and heal naturally.

Tell us about yourself

I've been in business 30 years after ending a seven-year struggle with chronic sciatic nerve pain. What motivates me to do this work is the power of the body, mind, and emotions to heal when given the optimal conditions. Stepping out of fear, lack, and limitation, we can access the natural ability of innate intelligence to harmonize what is operating in a state of discord.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Transitioning from a live, in-person practice to working online.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Finding and staying in your clarity about what it is you do and who you are here to serve without getting overwhelmed by chasing after more of what you think you need to be successful.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Become clear on who your ideal client is. What attributes and qualities does your ideal client have whom you are here to serve. What is an absolute must for you to want to work with them? EX: They are eager to expand and ready to grow.
  2. Know what problem they are trying to solve. What is their number one struggle, and how is it affecting their life?
  3. What can they expect from you and your work? EX: To be honest, reliable, professional, and honor their needs.
  4. Who do You get to be when all this comes to fruition? You are creating the business that works for you. Who do you get to be? EX: I am the owner of a thriving business that contributes to the lives of others, and I receive abundant compensation for what I do.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Clients are looking for a coach that can stand in the frequency of possibility. What people really want from a coach is someone who knows what they know and is willing to stand in the consciousness of possibility when the client is focused only on lack, limitation, and fear.

We're offering them a higher view from which to see their life, so we invite them to see and come into a new level of consciousness where they have access to more energy, health, abundance, ease, etc.
