Tell us about yourself
When I was in my 20's, I was working in a toxic environment in an unfulfilling career as an apprentice electrician. I was bullied, disrespected, and treated like I was worthless by my peers. This drove me to seek a new career through self-employment that leads to happiness and fulfillment through contribution to others.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Taking the leap of faith to quit a well-paying career in Telecommunications to become self-employed full-time.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Investing your time wisely in the activities that move you towards your goal one small step at a time while avoiding the shiny objects that slow you down.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Before you take the leap, get really clear on what you stand for, what your principles are, and what your offers are.
- Don't waste time trying to build courses without an engaged audience. Be mindful of your influences.
- Congruence is your compass, fulfillment is non-negotiable, and alignment equals authenticity.
