What's your business, and who are your customers?

Masterpiece Cuisine is an off-premise catering company that began operations in 2007 with a mission to enhance life’s celebrations with great food and amazing service. Whether you're planning a cocktail reception, corporate gala, open house, wedding, craft services, or entertaining friends, we don’t just cater food and drink, we cater experiences.

Tell us about yourself

From humble beginnings. It started with two friends cooking and working out of a house, who quickly realized things could be done differently. A pioneering spirit and vision to elevate and enhance the food and service at events. We’re deeply devoted and take great pride in bringing our passion for food and service to the residents and visitors of our favorite city - Las Vegas.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

The recipe for Masterpiece Cuisine’s success has been growing the company from the inside out.

  • Building strong relationships in the community.

During the pandemic, we diversified and expanded our business model to survive the shutdown. With multiple endeavors, Masterpiece Cuisine’s roster now includes businesses in multiple states, including a café, foodservice at a Veterans Home, foodservice at a hotel, and a cantina.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things is dealing with the unknowns. Every day there are new challenges and obstacles to deal with. Business is never predictable, no matter how prepared you are. But you gain personal satisfaction from implementing your ideas, working directly with clients, and watching your business succeed.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be passionate about what you do. Make a detailed business plan and set business and personal goals.
