What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a Registered Nutritionist and Weight Management Coach. I have successfully helped my clients through diet, supplementation, and guided coaching to reverse their health issues and lose weight in a healthy way and keep it off.

Tell us about yourself

I am a person who has lived experience of reversing my digestive issues with the help of a nutritionist. Seven years ago, I was struggling with digestive issues and was taking medication to help me eat. An amazing nutritionist helped me heal, and today I am happy to say that I am illness free. When I found the benefit of nutrition, I studied nutrition so that I could help my husband, who at that time had high cholesterol and was on medication, and my son, who was diagnosed with Autism. I used the knowledge from my education to help my husband get off his Cholesterol medication and help my son with his meltdowns, digestive issues, anxiety, and memory issues. Today my son is thriving and is an honor roll student at school.

When I saw what I could do to help my family through nutrition, it inspired me to help others, and as I saw how I could make an impact in people's lives. I got my calling, and that's how I pursued a career in nutrition. Today I have the ability to serve people, and it fuels my passion for helping people achieve optimal health and do the things that they enjoy doing.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have created a grassroots movement to help educate people so that we can prevent illnesses. A lot of my clients who have received the gift of healing decided to study nutrition and have now joined my team to continue my mission to help one family at a time heal and get healthy.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Growing your business and wanting to do more but not having enough time.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. What is your purpose for starting your business?
  2. Be truthful and ethical. Look in the best interest of your clients.
  3. Provide them with a solution that can help them and provide exceptional customer service.
