What's your business, and who are your customers?
I offer advanced antiaging facials and relaxing body treatments to help my clients to look radiant and feel their best!
My customers are young urban professionals who look for trustworthy skin and wellness therapists to help them achieve skin health and relaxation.
Tell us about yourself
Before entering the beauty industry, I worked in a large corporation for 20 years. I want to achieve my dream and full potential and thus start my business in 2014.
I wake up every day and feel motivated to work as I know my clients appreciate my work, and I can see the transformative result on them as well.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is to build a 6-figure business by myself, and all started from ground zero. When I first started my business, I had no customers. Now, I have established a good reputation for business in the city and an extremely loyal customer base.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
To try to do it all by myself.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Before you start, make sure this is something you're really passionate about, or you'll give up very easily.
- Be persistent and consistent when you're running your biz.
- While growing it, try to delegate work to other people and do not try to do it all by yourself.
