Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in food and beverage but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Bruno Pascale, Owner of Marley's Gotham Grill, located in Hackettstown, NJ, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a restaurant and bar called Marley's Gotham grill, and I have over 300 wing flavors; and I also have Marley's wings and things on the wheels food truck.

Tell us about yourself

When I was 13 years old, my biggest inspiration was the Pillsbury doughboy, and I knew I wanted to be a chef; when I was 17 years old, I opened my first pizzeria. What keeps me motivated is the adrenaline rush and the pleasure that I bring to my customers.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is when I competed in the Food Network twice and won on Cooks vs. Cons.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

I find one of the hardest things is building the right team; without it, you are nothing.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Hard work, never give up, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, and stay focused.
